Description

Swapping Out Your Disc Brake Rotor — The RDA Way
> Your Subaru's disc brake rotors are dead important - they're what actually stops ya! Over time, they wear down from all that friction, especially if you're giving your Leone or Alcyone a hiding on the daily commute.

What Clued You In?
• Brakes sound like a flock of seagulls?
• Steering wheel doing the shimmy-shake when you brake?
• Taking longer to pull up at the lights?
• Rotors look like they've been attacked by a grinder?

WOF Woes?
Worn rotors are a surefire way to fail your WOF here in NZ. Make sure they're thick enough and not too mangled to pass the test.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Alright, before you get stuck in, let's make sure you're sorted. Safety first, always! Never get under a car supported only by a jack – use proper jack stands. Grab some Nitrile Gloves to keep your hands clean from all that brake dust. It's nasty stuff, so safety glasses are a must too. Blast everything down with some Brake Cleaner to get rid of brake dust and grime. And don't forget a dab of anti-seize caliper grease on the right spots to keep things moving smoothly.

Expert's Two Cents
Worn rotors mean your Subaru Leone or Alcyone isn't stopping as well as it should be, simple as that. Chucking in new ones will get your braking back to top-notch. I'm always here at Bob's Shop to help you find the right rotor for your Subaru!

Fitment Notes
Double-check this rotor fits your exact Subaru model and year. Measure it up and make sure the bolt holes line up. Some models might need special tools or tricks to get the brakes sorted.
