Oil Filter Change: Keep Your Classic Smooooth!
> An oil filter's like a kidney for your engine, especially in a beast like your Holden Monaro or Chevy Impala. Over time, they gunk up, starving your engine of the good stuff. Swapping it out regularly keeps everything humming sweetly, especially in those older motors.
Uh Oh... Sounds Familiar?
• Engine's lost its mojo?
• Sounds a bit rough?
• That pesky oil pressure light's on?
• Oil's looking a bit grim?
• Running a tad hot?
WOF Worries?
A good oil filter is a no-brainer for your WOF. It keeps your engine healthy and emissions down – both things they check!

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Alright, before you get your hands dirty, a few quick tips from yours truly to make sure this goes off without a hitch:
• Safety First, Mates! Never, ever get under a car that's only held up by a jack. Use proper jack stands – they're cheap insurance against a nasty accident.
• Cleanliness is Key: Give the area around the old filter a good wipe-down before you start twisting things off. Keeps crud from falling into your engine.
• Lube It Up: Before you screw on the new filter, smear a little fresh oil on that rubber gasket. Helps it seal properly and prevents leaks.
• Grab Some Essentials: Don't forget some Engine Flush Additives, an Oil Drip Tray to catch the old oil (don't pour it down the drain!), and some Heavy-Duty Hand Cleaner to get those mitts sparkling afterwards. An Oil Filter Wrench will make your job easier.
Fitment Notes
Double-check you've got the right oil filter for your specific Monaro, Impala, or Corvette – thread sizes and dimensions can vary. And don't forget to lube that rubber gasket with fresh oil before you spin it on.
