If it doesn't fit your exact car, CARFIX won't show it

Brake pads matched to the last digit of their shape number, wheel bearings checked against drive type, and a lock that stops a ruled-out part creeping back.

ruled-out parts can't creep back

AUCKLAND, 31 October 2026 — CARFIX has tightened the checks that decide which parts appear against which cars. Brake pads are now matched on their full shape number, every digit, so pads that look alike on paper are never grouped together.

Wheel bearing kits are now checked against drive type, so a four-wheel-drive only sees four-wheel-drive parts. When a part is ruled out for a car, the decision is recorded with its evidence and locked, so no later catalogue update can quietly put it back.

The checking continues after the order. The day after a part is sent, the supplier's paperwork is compared with what was ordered.

'Should fit' is the most expensive phrase in car parts. I'd rather show you fewer parts and have every one of them right.
