AUCKLAND, 12 October 2026 — CARFIX has changed how it takes payment. When an order is placed, the customer's card is held rather than charged.

The charge is completed only once the part is confirmed by a supplier in CARFIX's supply network. If it can't be supplied, the hold is released and the customer pays nothing.

An automated watch checks every hold twice an hour, so no order sits waiting unnoticed.
