Four gates before any part goes live

A part now has to be priced, presented, fitted and indexed before CARFIX counts it as live, and the first and last gates are enforced automatically.

AUCKLAND, 27 August 2026 — CARFIX has defined what 'live' means for a part, and it takes four gates to get there. The part must be priced, it must be on the page, it must be fitted to the right cars, and it must be findable by search engines.

The sellable gate and the indexed gate are now enforced automatically. A part that cannot be sold is hidden from every listing, and only presentable, sellable parts are announced to search engines.

The four gates give CARFIX a single, measurable definition of a finished catalogue.

'Live' is a promise. A part has to pass all four gates before I'll call it that.
