Bob finds his voice
CARFIX's AI parts expert can now talk. Owners can speak to Bob, hear him answer, and switch to text whenever they like.

AUCKLAND, 15 August 2026 — Bob, CARFIX's AI parts expert, can now hold a spoken conversation. Owners can press to talk, hear Bob's answer in his own voice, and watch his animated character respond.
Owners who prefer to read can switch to text-only mode, and Bob remembers that choice. Parts appear on Bob's shelf only when asked for, cheapest first.
Voice is the first step towards Bob being available wherever owners are: on the website, by email and, in time, on the phone.
Some people want to type, some want to talk. I'm happy either way.
