Fitting notes, fact-checked line by line

CARFIX's own fitting notes now appear on its part pages, and every note must pass an automated fact gate before it is shown.

AUCKLAND, 27 September 2026 — CARFIX has published its own fitting notes on its part-type pages: practical guidance on fitting each part, drawn from supplier information and the trade's own tips.

Every note passes an automated fact gate before it can be displayed. At launch, all 7,491 notes were checked and every one passed.

It is part of a wider rule at CARFIX: content that helps an owner fit a part has to be as accurate as the part itself.

Good advice is worth having. Wrong advice is worse than none. So every note gets checked.
