Payments and accounts, hardened end to end
A security review has tightened every path that touches payments and personal details, from payment notifications to the way an account proves who it belongs to.

AUCKLAND, 5 August 2026 — CARFIX has completed a security review of the paths that handle payments and personal information. Every payment notification the platform receives is now cryptographically verified before it is acted on.
Account access now relies on verified sign-in tokens, so personal details are only ever returned to the person they belong to.
The review set the standard every later change at CARFIX is held to: identity is proven, never assumed.

Your details are yours. Every request that touches them has to prove who's asking.
