Swapping Out Your Disc Brake Rotors — The RDA Way
> Your Honda's disc brake rotors are key for stopping safely. City driving, especially in Honda Fit and CR-V models, wears them down over time. If they're warped or too thin, your braking won't be up to scratch, mate.
Spotting the Warning Signs
• Brakes screeches or grinds like a rusty gate
• Your foot gets the shakes on the brake pedal
• Takes longer to pull up than a cafe lunch
• Rotors look like they've been attacked by a grinder
WOF Woes?
Worn brake rotors are a quick way to fail your WOF. They need to be thick enough and without cracks to pass the test.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before diving in, grab these essentials to make the job safer and cleaner:
• Safety First: Never, ever get under a car supported only by a jack! Use proper Jack Stands. Protect your eyes with Safety Glasses – brake dust is nasty stuff.
• Cleanliness Counts: Brake dust is a pain. A can of Brake Cleaner will blast it away. Keep your hands clean and protected with Nitrile Gloves – these are tough enough for the job.
• Lube It Up: Use a dab of Anti-Seize Compound on the caliper bolts to stop them seizing up next time.
