Disc Brake Rotor Swap-Out: Keepin' Your Volvo Safe
> Those disc brake rotors on your Volvo are dead important. Over time, they get worn down, warped from heat, or corroded – especially if you give 'er a hard time or she sits around gathering dust. Let's get those sorted!
Symptoms That Led You Here
• Brake pedal's got the shakes or a proper wobble
• Squealing like stuck pig when you hit the brakes
• Takes a heck of a lot longer to pull up than it used to
• Can see scoring or damage on the rotor
• Pads are wearing unevenly
Will it pass WOF?
Buggered brake rotors are a classic WOF fail. They gotta be above the minimum thickness and not too rooted to pass the test.
