Parts for the Land Rover Perentie HD 6X6 V8

Known issues

Common issues with these Perentie models include chassis rust, particularly if regularly exposed to coastal environments. Engine maintenance, while robust, can require parts that are not as readily available as standard Land Rover components. Specific military equipment (if still installed) may need specialist attention or removal to comply with civilian regulations. Corrosion in electrical connections can also be problem.

WOF tips

WOF failures often revolve around rust, particularly on the chassis and body. Brake condition, suspension components (shocks, bushes, etc), and ensuring all lights are functioning correctly are usual things to check. Any modifications made post-military service will need to comply with NZTA standards. Tyres and their condition are also a point of attention.
