Known issues

Common issues often include wear on suspension components, especially if consistently carrying heavy loads. Brake systems, including linings, cylinders and hoses, are also prone to wear and require monitoring. Exhaust systems will need maintenance, as well as the DPF filter if fitted.

WOF tips

WOF inspections will focus on the structural integrity of the chassis, as well as the condition of brakes, suspension, steering, and lights. Corrosion in the cab and chassis is a frequent issue and a failure point. Ensure load securing points are in good order.
