About the Daihatsu Taft 3Y

The Taft prioritized functionality over comfort. Its robust ladder chassis and capable four-wheel-drive system made it suitable for tough terrain. Many were used as farm vehicles, leading to wear and tear. Simple mechanicals and rugged construction do keep some of these on the road to this day. Rust and general dilapidation is often an issue.
