Description

Oil Filter Change-Out: The RYCO Way
> Oil filters are like the bouncers at the entrance to your engine, keepin' out the riff-raff (read: contaminants) that can cause all sorts of trouble. Especially important if you're thrashing your Transit for work or just cruisin' in your Focus.

What Clued You In?
• Engine's feelin' a bit sluggish?
• Guzzling more gas than usual?
• Hearin' some funny knocks and bangs?
• That oil pressure light's flickerin' like a dodgy Christmas tree?
• Oil's lookin' like mud when you check it?

WOF Worthy?
Oil leaks are a surefire way to fail that WOF check. A good oil filter helps keep things sealed up tight and your engine bay clean, so you can breeze through that inspection, no worries.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you get crackin', mate, a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, safety's the name of the game. Always use axle stands if you're lifting your vehicle. Never trust just the jack! Grab yourself some Nitrile Gloves to keep your hands clean, and Safety Glasses to avoid any oil splashbacks. Have a can of Engine Flush Additives handy to give the engine a good internal clean before draining, and an Oil Drip Tray to catch the old oil. And don't forget some rags to wipe up any spills. Better to be safe than sorry, eh?

Bob's Two Cents
Regular oil filter swaps are a no-brainer to keep your Transit, Focus, or Convoy purring like a kitten. Pop into Bob's Shop, and we'll sort you out with exactly what you need. Too easy!
