Description

Disc Brake Rotor Replacement Guide — Sorted with RDA
> Disc brake rotors are absolutely crucial for keeping your car safe on the road. They're the surface your brake pads grip, so good ones are vital. For those nippy little city cars like the Nissan Pulsar and Juke, you need brakes you can rely on in all that stop-start traffic. Let's get you sorted.

Spotting the Warning Signs
• Feeling a wobble or pulsing when you hit the brakes? Not ideal.
• Hearing squeals, grinding, or scraping sounds? Definitely wants looking at.
• Taking longer to stop than usual, or the brake pedal feels soft? Dodgy as.
• Seeing lines, grooves, or funny colours on the rotor itself? Time for a change.

Will it pass WOF?
Worn out, warped, or damaged brake rotors are a no-go for a Warrant of Fitness (WOF) here in NZ. They'll fail you faster than you can say 'flat tyre' because they mess with your braking power and safety.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
• Safety First, Mates! Never, ever get under a car that's only held up by a jack. Use proper axle stands – your life's worth it!
• Blast that Brake Dust: Before you even think about touching those rotors, give the area a good spray with Brake Cleaner. Brake dust is nasty stuff, and you don't want to be breathing it in.
• Keep it Clean: Those new rotors will have a protective coating, don't forget to clean them with brake cleaner before installing the brake pads
• Glove Up! Protect your hands from all the muck and chemicals with some Nitrile Gloves. No one likes grimy mitts.
• Anti-Seize is Your Friend: A wee dab of anti-seize on the caliper bolts will make life easier next time you're in there. Just don't get any on the brake pads or rotor surface!

Bob's Two Cents
I reckon you should always swap out your brake rotors if they're looking tired or damaged. Keeps your braking top-notch and your passengers safe as houses. The RDA RDA8382 is a bloody good choice for your Pulsar or Juke – good performance and built to last. Pop into Bob's Shop, and we'll suss out what you need!

Fitment Notes
This rotor is made to fit a bunch of Nissan models, including the Pulsar (2012-2017) and Juke (2010-2019). It'll fit like a glove and give you the best braking performance for these popular little runabouts.

🧰 What Else You'll Need:
• Safety First: Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always secure it on heavy-duty safety jack stands.
• Brake Dust Protection: Keep a pack of Nitrile Gloves handy to protect your hands from grease and dust.
• Clean and Prep: Use Brake Cleaner to clean the anti-corrosion shipping oil off the new rotors before mounting the calipers.
• Lubrication: Apply caliper grease to caliper slide pins and pad contact points to prevent squealing.
