Swapping Out Your Disc Brake Rotors — The RDA Way
> Disc brake rotors are the unsung heroes in your Mazda Bongo or Ford Econovan's braking setup. They're what your brake pads clamp onto to bring you to a halt. But, tough conditions, they take a beating – wearing down, warping, or cracking from all that heat and friction, especially if you're always on the go with deliveries or hauling gear.
What Clued You In?
• Brakes sound like a choir of squealing pigs?
• Feel a judder in the pedal when you brake?
• Taking longer to pull up at the lights?
• Rotors look like they've seen better days – cracks or deep grooves?
Will it pass WOF?
Worn-out brake rotors are a surefire way to fail your WOF. They need to be thick enough and free from cracks to pass the test.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Alright, before you get stuck in, let's make sure you're sorted for a safe and tidy job:
• Safety First, Chur: Never, ever get under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Use proper jack stands – your life's worth it!
• Keep it Clean: Brake dust is nasty stuff. Give those new rotors a good blast with Brake Cleaner before fitting them. It'll get rid of any manufacturing gunk.
• Glove Up: Protect your mitts with some heavy-duty Nitrile Gloves. Keeps the grease and grime off.
• Lube 'em Right: Use a dab of anti-seize Caliper Grease on the caliper bolts. Makes life easier next time you're in there.
