Swapping Out Your MINI's Brake Rotors — The RDA Way
> Disc brake rotors: crucial for stopping your MINI. They wear out over time from all that friction, warp from heat, or get rusty, especially if you're giving it the beans in a Cooper S or live near the coast.
Uh Oh... Reckon You've Got These Symptoms?
• Brakes squealing like a stuck pig or grinding like you're chewing rocks?
• Brake pedal vibrating like a washing machine on spin cycle?
• Rotors looking worse for wear with scoring, rust, or cracks?
• Taking longer to pull up at the lights?
Will it pass WOF?
Worn brake rotors are a quick way to fail a WOF here in NZ. They need to be above minimum thickness and in good nick to pass the test.
DIY or Workshop?
Difficulty: 6/10
