Alright, before you get cracking on those rotors, let's make sure you're all set. Safety first, always!
• Safety Glasses: Don't want any brake dust or rust getting in your peepers. Grab a pair of safety glasses – a small price to pay to keep your eyes safe.
• Nitrile Gloves: Brake dust can be nasty stuff. Keep your hands clean and protected with some heavy-duty Nitrile Gloves.
• Brake Cleaner: Blast away all that built-up brake dust and grime before you start pulling things apart. Makes the job cleaner and easier. You can find Brake Cleaner here.
• Caliper grease: A wee dab of anti-seize caliper grease on the right spots will keep everything moving smoothly and prevent annoying squeals.
Important Note: Never, ever get under a car that's only supported by a jack. Use proper jack stands – your life depends on it!
