Disc Brake Rotor Replacement Guide — Featuring RDA
> Disc brake rotors are absolutely vital for good stopping power. They take a hammering from friction and heat, especially if you drive your BMW 3 Series or Z4 like you stole it, or you're always on the brakes in town. Time to get them sorted, mate.
Symptoms That Led You Here
• Brake pedal pulsation or vibration
• Squealing or grinding noises when braking
• Increased stopping distance
• Visible scoring or cracks on the rotor surface

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you start wrestling with those rotors, let's talk safety and what you'll need to get the job done properly:
• Safety First, Mates!: Never, ever get under a car supported only by a jack. Use proper axle stands. And chuck on some Safety Glasses to keep the brake dust out of your peepers.
• Keep it Clean: Brake dust is nasty stuff. Grab a can of Brake Cleaner to blast it off the rotors and calipers. Trust me, your lungs will thank you.
• Glove Up: Protect your hands with some Nitrile Gloves. Brake cleaner and general grime are no good for your skin.
• Anti-Seize is Your Friend: When reassembling, use a dab of anti-seize caliper grease on the caliper pins and the back of the brake pads to prevent squealing and keep things moving smoothly.
