Gotta stop safely, eh? Disc brake rotors are what your brake pads grip to bring your Mazda Bongo or Toyota Estima to a halt. CARFIX rates RDA rotors, and we stock 'em.

Swapping Out Your Disc Brake Rotors — RDA Style
> Disc brake rotors are prime real estate in your braking system, working hard with the pads to keep you safe. Over time, heat and friction take their toll, especially if you're giving it heaps in a Mazda Bongo or Ford Courier. Rotors can warp, crack, or wear down – not ideal for that upcoming WOF check!
What Clued You In?
• Brakes squealing like a rusty gate?
• Feeling a judder in the pedal when you brake?
• Taking longer to stop than you reckon you should?
• Rotors looking a bit sad with cracks, grooves, or rust?
WOF Woes?
Worn brake rotors are a surefire way to fail a WOF here in NZ. They need to be within the thickness specs and free from major damage to pass the test. No one wants to be gutted by a failed WOF.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
• Safety First, Mates: Grab some safety glasses to keep the metal dust out of your peepers and nitrile gloves to keep your hands clean. Brakes can be dusty, so protect yourself.
• Cleanliness is Key: Before you even think about fitting those new rotors, give everything a good blast with Brake Cleaner. This stuff cuts through the grime and brake dust like a hot knife through butter, ensuring your new pads bed in properly.
• Lube it Up: A little anti-seize caliper grease on the caliper pins and contact points will keep things moving smoothly and prevent annoying squeals down the line. Don't go overboard, just a thin smear will do the trick.
Bob's Two Cents
Worn rotors are a no-brainer when it comes to safety. Replacing them keeps you stopping sweet and stops other parts from getting damaged. Pop into Bob's Shop and we'll sort you out with the right gear!
Fitment Notes
Make sure those new rotors are the right fit for your ride. Some models, like the Toyota Estima TD, have different setups for rear discs and drums, so double-check before you crack open that cafe lunch. Bob's always ready to help you choose the right part.
