Swapping Out Your Disc Brake Rotors — The RDA Way
> Your Honda's disc brake rotors are prime for stopping power. Over time, they cop a beating – wear and tear, heat warping, and rust, especially on your daily-driver Civic or cool-cruising Prelude. It's just part of tough Kiwi roads.
Warning Signs You've Hit This Page
• Brakes sound like a pack of seagulls fighting over a chip? Squealing or grinding ain't good.
• Brake pedal doing the Macarena? Vibration or pulsation means trouble.
• Taking longer to pull up at the lights?
• Rotors look like they've been through a war? Scratches, cracks, or rust are dead giveaways.
• Brake pads wearing unevenly?
Will it pass WOF?
Dodgy brake rotors are a no-go for your WOF. They need to be within thickness limits and free of major damage to pass the test. Don't get caught out!
