Swapping Out Your TOYOTA's Disc Brake Rotors — RDA Style
> Disc brake rotors are what your brake pads grab onto to slow you down. Over time, they get worn, warped, or even cracked. This means less stopping power, and nobody wants that, aye?
What Clued You In?
• Brakes squealing like a pig or grinding like gears
• Your brake pedal's doing the Macarena
• Taking longer to pull up at the lights
• Rotors looking worse for wear – cracks, grooves, rust
WOF Woes?
Dodgy rotors are a surefire way to fail your WOF. They gotta be thick enough and free from cracks. Get 'em sorted!

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you get cracking on those brakes, mate, safety first!
• Safety Glasses: Keep that brake dust out of your peepers. You only get one set!
• Nitrile Gloves: Brake dust and grease are minging. Keep your hands clean and protected.
• Brake Cleaner: Blast away all that built-up carbon dust before you start pulling things apart. Makes the job cleaner and easier.
• Caliper Grease: A wee dab of anti-seize on the caliper bolts will make life easier next time you're in there.
Never get under a car supported only by a jack! Use proper axle stands; your life's worth more than saving a few minutes. And dispose of your old brake parts responsibly – don't just chuck 'em in the ditch!
