Oil Filter Change: Keeping Your Classic Mercedes-Benz Sweet
> Oil filters are the unsung heroes, keeping your engine oil clean and your classic Mercedes-Benz, like the 220 SEB and S-Class, humming. Over time, they get clogged, starving your engine of clean oil. Especially important for these older engines, eh?
Spotting the Signs of a Dodgy Oil Filter
• Oil pressure light flickers like a dodgy neon sign.
• Your oil looks more like black coffee than golden syrup.
• The engine's making noises that'd make a mechanic wince.
• Your Merc's not got the oomph it used to.
• Nasty bits floating in your oil when you check it.
WOF Woes?
While a bung oil filter won't fail a WOF on its own, the engine damage it causes might. Keep that filter ship-shape to ensure you pass with flying colours.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you get cracking, mate, safety first! Grab some safety glasses – you don't want oil in your peepers. And a pair of nitrile gloves will keep your hands clean from that black sludge. Don't forget your oil drip tray to catch the old oil, and plenty of rags for wiping up spills. A good squirt of engine flush before you drain the old oil can help dislodge any stubborn gunk.

Fitment Notes
