Spark Plug Sorted: Your NGK Replacement Guide
> Spark plugs are what give your BMW's engine that spark of life, igniting the fuel and air. But over time, they wear out from all the voltage and combustion, causing misfires and making your ride a bit rough, especially in models like the 325i and X3 xDrive28i.
Spotting the Signs
• Engine's misfiring, idling rough, and hesitating when you put your foot down?
• Suddenly burning more fuel than usual?
• Having a heck of a time starting up, especially on those frosty mornings?
• That pesky check engine light's decided to say g'day on your dash?
• Taking a peek and seeing the spark plug electrodes are looking a bit worse for wear?
Will it pass WOF?
Dodgy spark plugs can cause your Beemer to pump out too many fumes, which could mean a WOF failure. No one wants that!

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Alright, before you get your hands dirty, let's make sure we're doing this right, the Kiwi way:
• Safety First, Mates! Engines get hot, so make sure it's stone-cold before you start poking around. Wear safety glasses – you don't want any bits ending up where they shouldn't. And, yeah, disconnect the negative battery terminal (black one) so you don't get any unwanted sparks.
• Keep it Clean: Before you even THINK about pulling out the old plugs, give the area around them a good clean with some compressed air. You don't want any dirt falling into the cylinders. That's just asking for trouble. Use Brake Cleaner to blast away any stubborn grime.
• Glove Up: Those old plugs can be a bit mucky. Grab some Nitrile Gloves to keep your hands clean and protected. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
• The Right Gap: Spark plugs need to have the right gap for optimal performance. Use a spark plug gap tool to make sure they're spot on. Check your car's manual for the correct gap setting.

Fitment Notes
Make sure that spark plug gap is set to your BMW's specs. If your BMW's got coil-on-plug ignition, be extra careful removing those ignition coils so you don't damage them.
