Description

Brake Pad Replacement: TRW's Got Your Back!
> Your brake pads are what stop your Nissan Sunny, Sentra, or Pulsar, so it's no-brainer that they need to be up to scratch. Over time, they wear down, and your braking won't be as good. This is super important for older cars that have clocked up a few K's.

Spotting the Signs of Dodgy Brakes
• Brakes are squealing like a gutted pig or grinding like dusty metal tracks
• Takes way longer to stop than it used to
• Your brake pedal is vibrating like crazy
• Feels spongy or soft when you hit the brakes
• Pads are visibly worn down to less than 3mm

WOF Woes?
Worn brake pads are a big no-no for your WOF. You'll fail for sure. You need good brake pad thickness to pass, so don't risk it!

DIY or Get a Pro?
Difficulty: 5/10 (Moderate)
Estimated Time: 1-2 hours per axle
Tools You'll Need: Jack, jack stands (never get under a car supported only by a jack!), lug wrench, C-clamp or brake caliper piston compressor, wrench set, torque wrench, brake cleaner, wire brush, and maybe a brake bleeder kit.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you get stuck in, grab these to make the job safer and easier:
• Safety First: Chuck on some safety glasses. Brake dust in the eyes is no fun.
• Keep 'em Clean: Nitrile gloves are your friends. Brake dust is minging.
• Brake Dust Be Gone: Blast away brake dust and grime with a can of Brake Cleaner. Makes everything easier to work on.
• Stop the Squeal: A wee dab of anti-seize caliper grease on the right spots will keep things quiet.

Bob's Two Cents
I reckon you should change your brake pads the moment you see any wear. Why wait? The TRW GDB3180DT pads are a bloody good choice – reliable and do the job. Give us a yell at Bob's Shop, and we'll sort you out with the right parts for your Nissan.

Fitment Notes
These pads fit heaps of Nissan models from the 90s and early 2000s, like the Sunny, 100NX, Lucino, Sentra, Almera, Pulsar, and AD. Double-check your year and model, though, just to be sure. Bob's Shop is the place to go!

🛠️ Bob's Pro Tip: Do the Job Right!

🧰 What Else You'll Need:
• Safety First: Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always secure it on heavy-duty safety jack stands.
• Brake Dust Protection: Brakes get incredibly dirty. Keep a pack of Nitrile Gloves handy to protect your hands from stubborn brake dust.
• Clean and Prep: Use a high-quality Brake Cleaner spray to blast away stubborn dust, oil, and road grime from the caliper assembly and new rotors before reassembly.
• Lubrication: Apply a thin smear of high-temperature caliper grease to the pad backing plates and slide pins (keep it off the pad friction material!) to prevent squeals and ensure smooth caliper operation.
