🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you get cracking, grab these essentials to make the job safer and easier:
• Safety First: A good pair of safety glasses will stop any brake dust or debris from getting in your eyes. Trust me, you don't want that!
• Keep it Clean: Brake cleaner is your best mate for blasting away brake dust and grime. Give everything a good spray down before you start pulling things apart.
• Glove Up: Protect your hands with some nitrile gloves. Brake dust isn't exactly good for you, and these will keep your mitts clean.
• Grease is the Word: Use a dab of anti-seize caliper grease on the caliper bolts to make sure they don't seize up next time you need to get in there.
And remember, never get under a car that's only supported by a jack! Use proper stands, or you might be gutted.
