Description

Swapping Out Your Toyota's Disc Brake Rotors — TRW Style
> Brake rotors are dead important for stopping power, especially in a family wagon like the Avensis. They wear down over time, so keep an eye on 'em to keep everyone safe.
Spotting the Warning Signs
• Brakes squealing like a rusty gate?
• Feeling a judder in the pedal when you brake?
• Taking longer to pull up at the lights?
• Rotors looking a bit rough or scored?
• Brake pads wearing unevenly?
WOF Woes?
Worn rotors are a quick way to fail a WOF here in NZ. They gotta be thick enough and in good nick to pass the test.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you get cracking, mate, safety first! Never get under a car that's only held up by a jack. Use proper axle stands. Grab some Nitrile Gloves to keep the hands clean, and safety glasses to stop any brake dust from getting in your eyes. A can of Brake Cleaner is gold for blasting away brake dust and grime. And a wee dab of anti-seize grease on the caliper bolts will make life easier next time around.
Bob's Two Cents
Worn rotors are a no-go, especially when you're carting precious cargo in your Avensis Verso or Picnic. New rotors mean safe stops. TRW's a good brand, but CARFIX has others. Pop into Bob's Shop, and we'll sort you out with the right rotors for your Toyota. See you soon, mate!
Fitment Notes
Double-check these rotors fit your Avensis, Avensis Verso, Ipsum, or Picnic (2001-2009 model years). Measure twice, fit once!
