Gotta keep those classic Jags stopping sweet, eh? Disc brake rotors are MISSION CRITICAL for safe braking.

Jaguar Disc Brake Rotor Replacement: The TRW Lowdown
> Right, your Jag's rotors are key to pulling up safely. They can wear out over time, especially on older models like the XJ and XJS. Ignoring worn rotors? That's just asking for trouble.
Uh Oh, Is This You?
• Brakes squealing like a stuck pig?
• Vibrations that make your teeth rattle when you hit the anchors?
• Taking longer to pull up than a cafe lunch?
• Rotors looking like they've been attacked by a grinder?
WOF Woes?
Worn rotors are a dead cert for a WOF failure here in NZ. Minimum thickness is the name of the game, and cracks? Forget about it.

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Alright, before you get cracking, a quick yarn about safety and getting the job done right. Brakes are no joke, so listen up!
• Safety First, Mate! Never, ever get under a car supported only by a jack. Use proper axle stands. Seriously.
• Cleanliness is King: Brake dust is nasty stuff. Give everything a good blast with Brake Cleaner to keep the dust down. Makes the job easier, too.
• Protect Your Peepers: Safety glasses are a no-brainer. Brake dust and rust flakes love eyeballs.
• Glove Up: Keep your mitts clean with a pair of Nitrile Gloves. Brake cleaner dries your hands right out.
• Anti-Seize is Your Friend: A smear of anti-seize caliper grease on the caliper bolts will make life easier next time.

🧰 What Else You'll Need:
• Safety First: Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always secure it on heavy-duty safety jack stands.
• Brake Dust Protection: Keep a pack of Nitrile Gloves handy to protect your hands from grease and dust.
• Clean and Prep: Use Brake Cleaner to clean the anti-corrosion shipping oil off the new rotors before mounting the calipers.
• Lubrication: Apply caliper grease to caliper slide pins and pad contact points to prevent squealing.
