DBA Brakes · Part number DBA787X · NZ$307.00 incl. GST
Gotta stop that Land Cruiser, eh? Disc brake rotors are your main mate for safe braking, turning all that forward motion into heat when the pads squeeze 'em.
NZ$307.00 including GST. Part number DBA787X.
Land Cruiser Disc Brake Rotor Swap — Starring DBA
> Your Land Cruiser's rotors are key to stopping safely. They wear out over time from all the friction and heat, especially with how tough you treat your Land Cruiser. This means less braking power and could be risky on the road or out in the wop-wops.
Spotting Trouble: Is It Time for New Rotors?
• Brakes screamin' or grindin' like a rusty gate?
• Steering wheel shakin' when you hit the brakes?
• Taking ages to pull up?
• Rotors lookin' scored, cracked, or rusty as?
• Brake pads wearin' unevenly?
WOF Woes?
Worn rotors are a dead cert for a WOF failure here in NZ. They gotta be thick enough and not cracked to pass the test. No one wants that cafe lunch money going to a re-test!

🛠️ Bob's "Get It Done Right" Companion Checklist
Before you get stuck in, grab these bits and pieces to make the job safer and easier:
• Safety First: Chuck on some Safety Glasses to keep the crud out of your eyes and some Nitrile Gloves to protect your hands from brake dust and grease. Brake dust isn't good for ya, mate.
• Cleanliness is Key: Give those new rotors a good blast with Brake Cleaner to get rid of any factory protectant. This'll help your new pads bed in properly.
• Don't Forget the Grease: A wee smear of anti-seize Caliper Grease on the caliper slide pins will keep everything moving smoothly and prevent annoying squeals down the track.
Bob's Two Cents
Worn rotors are no good, especially if you're towing or hitting the trails. New ones mean better stopping and less chance of things going pear-shaped. Swing by Bob's Shop, and we'll sort you out with the right bits for your Land Cruiser. No worries!
Fitment Tips
• Make sure the new rotors fit your Land Cruiser, year and model.
• Always do both sides at once for even braking. It's a no-brainer, really.
• Chuck in new brake pads while you're at it. Best way to make sure everything beds in nicely and you don't wear out your new rotors too quick.
• Land Cruisers can have different sized rotors, so double-check what you need.
