Description

Disc Brake Rotor Replacement Guide — Featuring DBA
> Your disc brake rotors are the workhorses of your braking system. They're what your brake pads clamp onto to slow you down. Over time, they wear out from all the friction and heat, especially in vehicles that get a lot of use, like the VW Tiguan or Skoda Superb. Ignoring worn rotors means your braking just won't be up to scratch.

Symptoms That Led You Here
• Squealing or grinding when you brake
• Feeling a vibration or pulsing through the brake pedal
• Your stopping distance has increased
• You can see scoring, cracks, or rust on the rotor
• Your brake pads are wearing unevenly

Will it pass WOF?
Dodgy brake rotors are a pretty common reason for a WOF to fail here in NZ. Your rotors need to be within the minimum thickness and shouldn't have any cracks or major damage to pass the test.
