Spark Plug Sorted: A Kiwi Guide (feat. NGK)
> Spark plugs are what give your engine the jolt it needs to get going. Over time, they wear down, especially in older V8s like Holdens and Fords. This can lead to misfires and your engine not running quite right. Time to get them sorted, eh?
Spotting Dodgy Spark Plugs:
• Engine's misfiring, especially when you put your foot down.
• Idling like a tractor.
• Fuel bill's gone through the roof.
• Hard to start in the mornings.
• That pesky check engine light's on.
Will it pass WOF?
Might be touch-and-go. If the engine's running rough and blowing smoke, it's a no-go. Misfires from knackered spark plugs are a WOF fail, mate.
